Third in the line up. Short but solid. Really appreciate the candles. Good guides to points of interest, and adds to the eerie feel. I have a lot of question... mostly what the sweet merciful heck was going on in said forest. But interesting. Good work keep it coming.

You call this good? This game was so terrible I deleted my footage. All that happens are things someone can replicate in a movie where it's only a specific path. Except in this game it's only one path and it's very lame. Even dying gives nothing but a restart to the very lame slow chase.
Seems you have a very dull mind no offense. If you had to delete the footage chances are you aren't very creative with how you commentate. I see all your posts are negative, always. Have you ever made a game? Does this game look like it was meant to absolutely scare you? Or do you think it was done mainly for the memes?
Played this with a few others - I feel the game would be a bit stronger with more overt comedy (think Tucker & Dale) - as is it's very comedic and enjoyable, and it feels intentional which is great. Poor Paul, doomed to wander the woods forever. Linked at the time I played!
Did you really call THIS GAME a comedy? What's so funny about this game? It's a guy screaming and dying only to be witchcrafted back but then losing his body to a demon who is trying to kill the summoner.
Oh yes, this is a great comedy of our era, alongside such comedy gold as the iconic Tucker & Dale. Beneath the shrieks of horror and agony is a certain melodic ring - one that truly conveys Paul understands his death and rebirth will bemuse the summoner and viewers in a way never seen before!
To be clear, this is a janky and silly game that took only a few minutes of my time. For a gamejam entry, this is a short and goofy story and can be treated as such. It doesn't have to be that deep, but this was the vibe I had while playing. :)
I had a blast playing this game. While not the scariest game in the world, it makes up by being comedy gold. I love how the chase scene is almost like a leisurely stroll through the woods. I played it as a part of my Half Hour Horror video, and it starts at 15:58.
Hey man comedy is subjective, I found this game to be really funny and entertaining. Not so much because it was an A-list, spooky horror game, but because this game is for the memes. It’s a fun goofy horror game that helps a player take a break from the usual blood, gore, and frights. That’s what I love about playing/recording indie itch.io games, you never really know what you’re going to get and it’s okay to play “a boring game” as you would call it. My advice for you is to take some time away from the internet, really look within yourself, and figure out why, when, and how you became such a negative, soulless, oxygen thieving individual.
A path lit by candles leads you through a desolate landscape trying to find your lost buddy. But since you found blood in his tent, this hiking event turns dark pretty quickly. And then you begin to find body parts... Will Paul ever be whole again...?
I really liked to changing candle bit, in which you're guided in various directions. Had a bit of trouble finding the car, but in the end, made it out alive.
I didn't run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. Well done and kudos to all involved!
